As a vegan I was so pleased with the options at this cafe, the thai food was spot on and delicious ectremely generious portions. They where super helpful when answering our questions about vegan items on the menu, we ordered the fried spring rolls, pineapple fried rice and pad thai-ALL Vegan! We had recently had a horrible encounter at nings thai in Pahoa and found this amazing place that lifted our thai food craving spirits. friendly and funny staff if I could give more then 5 I would🤙

The food here is very delicious. Definitely my favorite in Keaau. They are a little pricey but do give generous portions.The service however left us in disbelief. The host/waitress (owner's daughter) had no personality and was very rude to a large group of 11 guests. Besides us two, the restaurant was empty but she kept complaining because they should have made a reservation in case they were full."Hello, you're empty! What's all the fuss?" Plus nowhere online or in the restaurant does it state "Reservations Required." The host wouldn't shut up so they got up and left. That was stupid!! That was at least a $250 lost in business, not counting the negative word of mouth.Of course her personality changes when it's time to pay our bill. Go figure!! A lesson in customer service would go a long way. Dine here at your own risk. We decided we won't be patronizing this business anymore. Too bad cause the food is really tasty.

Food is good however the amount of chicken in the curry is enough to feed an infant. Other them that it's good. Except you will need a fur coat and Eskimo hat that covers your ears because its freaken cold in that restaurant.

Really family oriented kind of restaurant. My family and I love this place because they cooked food with passion. It's one of the best cuisine we love in Vegas and I'm glad Spoonful Cafe is around here in Big Island to fill our cravings. Awesome restaurant, please go and visit and you will enjoy it as much as we do,❤️❤️❤️😘 🤩🤩🤩

A great little neighborhood restaurant. Consistent quality, fresh, well spiced/seasoned Thai food. Daily specials (especially the pumpkin curry YUM) and great fried rice (fresh Basil greens). Live a few blocks away, and have never been let down (past 3 years) with any fair we've ordered. Beats the heck out of the local L&L, Lemon Grass, Pizza Hut, and Mc D's that are in the same shop area.

Small lil cafe in Keaau town. Nice family owned business, specializing in thai cuisine. Their curries are the bomb. I had the spicy pad thai dish and it was delish. They also have local plate lunches/dinner. They are open for lunch and dinner. Dinner hours were 5pm-800pm.

Owners are very friendly and accommodating to soy and seafood allergies. Also, good for vegetarian, pescatarian, and vegan diets.

FANTASTIC. We've eatin Thai for many years in many cities.The pumpkin curry was one of The Best Curries we've had. Pad Thai was loaded with chicken and a good portion. We are impressed. Fast service, clean Great food We will be back.

Spent and had to throw all in the garbage rice was hard green curry with tofu ( was cold in inside) green papaya salad was revolting discussing I guess no much papaya but lots of cabbage and dressing had old taste to it !!! Just horrendous! I had order there before and it was not that bad but today...so never again😝

Delicious and family oriented plus family run. Smaller portions and prices have gone up, but have never been disappointed with their meals.

Thai wanna be flavour, not Thai cuisine AT ALL. Food is eatable but not delish my husband got sick just by eating their spring rolls. Nice people but not worth the ratings they got.👎👎👎
